Fantastic Four Dr Doom casting considerations
If you are keeping up with who will be playing who in the upcoming reboot of Fantastic four, you will already know that the Fantastic Four team will be Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, Miles Teller as Richard Reed, Kata Mara as Sue Storm and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm. But who is being considered for the role of villain Dr. Doom?
Well the word is there is now a shortlist of four actors being considered for the Dr. Doom role, and those actors are, Sam Riley, Toby Kebbell, Domhnall Gleeson and Eddie Redmayne, reports Cinema Blend.
The Fantastic Four reboot isn't crammed with a-list stars, and it would be understandable if you haven't heard of the four above, so here's what you might have seen them in previously.
Brit actor Sam Riley played the lead character in On The Road back in 2012, and can be seen again in the upcoming Maleficent that stars Angelina Jolie. Toby Kebbell also hails from England who has had roles in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Wrath of the Titans, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, and appears in the upcoming Warcraft and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Moving on to Domhnall Gleeson, you may know the Irish actor from the last two Harry Potter movies in which he played Bill Weasley, and the actor also recently finished work on Unbroken.
Last but not least is Brit Eddie Redmayne, an actor that made his Hollywood debut with a small role in The Good Shepard back in 2006. Since then the actor has had roles in The Other Boleyn Girl, Les Miserables, and other period pieces, and recently moved into Sci-fi appearing in Jupiter Ascending.
