J.K. Rowling may be back in the series business.

On the heels of her Harry Potter franchise, Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will become a trilogy, according to The New York Times.

In its profile of Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara, the executive says that the fantasy story will consist of 'three megamovies.'

A call to Warner Bros. was not immediately returned, though the studio announced the movie in September, along with Rowling as the screenwriter.

Beasts follows the adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York's secret community of wizards and witches. The story is set 70 years before Harry Potter arrives.

No release dates have been announced.
