iPhone 6 may include sensors to detect the weather, says analyst
Taking a page from Samsung's Galaxy S4, the next iPhone may be able to feel the temperature and humidity, claims a Chinese analyst.

It's not the heat, it's the humidity. And Apple's next iPhone may feel it just like you do.
Expected to arrive this year, the iPhone 6 could come equipped with its own barometer to automatically detect the temperature, humidity, and air pressure, according to ESM-China analyst Sun Changxu. In a report covered by blog site G for Games, Chagxu cited 'sources close to the matter' as responsible for this latest tidbit.
Assuming the report is true, Apple will be playing catch-up with Samsung, which added weather sensors to its Galaxy S4 a year ago. Of course, current iPhone owners can simply ask Siri for the temperature or humidity. But Apple's voice assistant relies on external sources to get that information.
Last month, Changxu floated rumors that Apple could offer the iPhone 6 in two sizes -- a 4.7-inch version slated to debut this June and a 5.7-inch edition to launch later in the year.
Other reports say Apple will offer sensors to check your own temperature and other bodily features, capabilities that could arrive with the next iPhone or the much-rumored iWatch.
Apple has yet to make any official declaration about a successor to the iPhone 5S and 5C.
