In a Monday post on Instagram, one of the top prospects of the upcoming NFL draft showcased his abilities in a different sport. Johnny Manziel uploaded a clip featuring four impressive dunks on a basket of undetermined height.
The second dunk is the highlight, not because it's a nice dunk (it is) but because Manziel shows that even the biggest stars aren't immune to the 'turn around to make sure your buddy got that on film' look.
Some people, at least those inside For The Win headquarters, wondered whether Manziel was dunking on a 10-foot rim. An investigation was inconclusive.
Manziel measured just under six feet at last month's combine. Knowing that, the pic below makes it seem like he's about four feet below the rim, suggesting that the basket is regulation height.
But then there's this photo, in which Manziel appears to be able to touch the net without jumping. Someone at his height with his arm length would be unlikely to do so, though we acknowledge that the angle of the picture makes it difficult to tell.
One thing we're safe in saying: Johnny Manziel is good at sports.
