Cosmos will begin its 13-episode run beginning this Sunday, premiering simultaneously on 10 Fox channels, including FX, FXX and National Geographic. The television event is a successor to Carl Sagan's Cosmos: A Personal Voyage and tells the story of how we discovered the laws of nature and found our coordinates in space and time.

Executive producer Seth MacFarlane teamed up Sagan's original creative team, including writer/executive producer Ann Druyan and co-writer/astronomer Steve Soter. for the Fox follow-up. Famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson will serve as host.

Cosmos premieres Sunday at 9/8c on Fox. Will you watch?
