WARNING: We're about to review the most jaw-dropping moments from Sunday night's season finale of True Detective. If you don't want to be spoiled, turn around and run away! For everyone else, let's discuss that action-packed episode:

Holy hell! We're still trying to catch our breath because that was one of the most adrenaline-pumping, heart-racing, hours in TV's history. The highly anticipated season finale of HBO's smash series, True Detective, aired Sunday night and, as always, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson were Emmy-worthy perfection.

We had an overwhelming amount of information thrown at us in Rust and Marty's final hour together, so let's review the key points and try to piece together this cringe-worthy puzzle together.

Rust and Marty used the combined brilliance to pin-point the location of the killer-aka the Spaghetti Monster, aka Billy Childress, the gardener from the 1995 flashback. After discovering that Billy is a half-sister molesting psycho who keeps middle-aged men tied up in his bed, they quickly went on high-speed foot-chase.

After finding the infamous and deadly place of Carcosa, Rust was ambushed by Billy and stabbed in the stomach. Marty, like the great partner he is, found Rusty and fired a few shots at Billy before getting an ax-pixed in the chest. Ouch. And just as it looked like both of our detectives were doomed, Rust shot our serial killer in the head. Our eight-episode adventure ended with Marty breaking Rust free from the hospital saying, 'I'd protest, but it occurs to me that you're un-killable.'

What did you all think of the seaosn fianle of True Detective? Do you still have questions? Are you happy that both Marty and Rust survived?
