UAlbany men's basketball team scores first NCAA tournament victory
The University at Albany Great Danes men's basketball team defeated the Mount St. Mary's of Maryland Tuesday during the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
The Albany, NY school recorded its first tournament victory during its fourth trip to the tournament, beat the Mountaineers by a score of 71 to 64.
The Great Danes now will head to Orlando, Florida where the team will go up against the University of Florida Gators, the top rated team in the tournament.
