Britney Spears Launches Intimate Lingerie Line
Britney Spears launched The Intimate Britney Spears collection on Tuesday during New York Fashion Week and explained that she's been thinking about the sleepwear line for over a decade.
She explained on 'Good Morning America,' 'Ten years ago, I was in Europe and I went to this vintage, like, artsy fartsy, really, really cool, small boutique store with all of these lingerie and sleepwear lines...Ever since I went there I've wanted to do this, so it's been for 10 years that I've been trying to put this line together.'
The singer took her time creating the collection and was very involved in the design and creation process.
'It's very romantic, very vintage, muted colors, I'm really passionate about it... It's taken a year and a half to put it (the pieces) together. I've been very hands-on,' she said.
She also posted an image of herself on Instagram with her lingerie models and the caption: 'Huge thanks to these beautiful models for making the @IntimateBritneySpears collection come to life! #NYFW #IntimateBritneySpears.'
