Ingredients

  • 14 ounces firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Steamed broccoli
  • Sesame seeds

Method

  1. Pat tofu dry and toss with cornstarch.
  2. Sear tofu in a lightly oiled skillet until crisp on several sides.
  3. Whisk soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar.
  4. Pour the glaze over tofu and simmer until shiny.
  5. Serve over rice with broccoli and sesame seeds.

Kitchen Notes

For more heat, add chili crisp or sliced fresh chile to the glaze.
