Madonna dons 'Game of Thrones' garb for Jewish holiday

She may be approaching retirement age, but Madonna is keen to show she still has her finger on the pulse.


The superstar has posted a picture of herself dressed up as the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, from the HBO hit, 'Game of Thrones.'

The star dressed up on the occasion of Purim, a Jewish holiday which traditionally sees followers dress up in costume.



'Happy Purim!!!!! All Hail All Queens!,' the 55-year-old star posted on Instagram.

Madonna donned a leather corset and lacy top.


The singer has spoken of her admiration for the Jewish faith, after becoming attracted to Kabbalah, an offshoot of Judaism, several years ago.


The character Daenerys is played by 26-year-old Emilia Clarke in the television series.
