2014 Super Bowl weather forecast: 25 degrees, no snow for now

That doesn't just mean it's almost time to head up to the Big Apple area. It also means we are within the '10-Day Forecast' range.
And lest you think weather isn't a big deal for this game, well it is. I walked outside in North Carolina on Friday and almost lost a few fingers because it was 10 degrees and I was gloveless. Trying to tackle someone in the snow or throw a football into 20 mph winds ain't easy.
With that in mind, Weather.com is calling for a decently mild forecast.
Sunset is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. so bank on the 25-degree portion of things. What's interesting is there's no snow currently slated at night for the 10-day forecast.
The chance of precipitation is just 20 percent, which would be big for the NFL.
All things considered, this is a pretty Broncos- and Peyton Manning-friendly forecast. Cold weather is a nightmare but it's just going to be cold in the New York area on Feb. 2. Expecting anything different is delusional.
But mid-20s with a low chance of rain or snow and only 8 ,ph winds? That's a calm freaking day compared to what could happen.
