Foursquare partners with online delivery giant GrubHub Seamless

Social check-in service Foursquare has teamed up with online delivery giant GrubHub Seamless, to update its iOS and Android offerings with a new delivery button which allows the users to order dinner from the nearby restaurants they are browsing.

The partnership between Foursquare and GrubHub Seamless will enable the users of Foursquare's updated iOS and Android apps to easily and quickly order from over 20,000 restaurants across the US.

To place their order from nearby restaurants, the Foursquare iOS and Android app users have to simply click the GrubHub or Seamless icon, which is positioned directly below the 'View Menu' option.

About the new feature that has come aboard its iOS and Android apps, thanks to the partnership with GrubHub Seamless, Foursquare said that the 'easy ordering' feature is now live on Foursquare. com, as well as on iOS and Android. The feature not just allows the users to order from restaurants, but also enables them to search for what they are craving and the word 'delivery' to see the nearby restaurants which will deliver their order.

Foursquare's integration with GrubHub Seamless is highly noteworthy because it will unfold an opportunity for Foursquare to give a new dimension to its service, which is currently used by people to merely check-in to a place they are planning to visit, be it a restaurant or a monument.
