Acer announces 27 inch All
Acer has easily been the busiest manufacturer today with multiple device announcements. Adding to the list now is a rather unique device, a monitor to be precise which is also a massive tablet. This device from Acer features a 27 inch display, has its own processor inside ( Tegra 4), 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and can mirror content from your devices using HDMI too, just as a standard monitor. The best part however is that the tablet/monitor runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The monitor packs a resolution of 2560×1440, so it's not a standard 1080p monitor. The device is known as the Acer TA272 in the markets and will also feature a 2MP webcam on the front along with Dolby speakers, which rounds off the multimedia department. Acer has taken care of how the monitor looks as it can be positioned in a variety of angles thanks to the slick design. Acer claims that the monitor has begun shipping globally as of now with an estimated retail price of $1,099 which appears to be a lot for a tablet, but understandable since it doubles as a monitor as well.
