'Honey Boo Boo' family injured in car accident
Several cast members from TLC's hit reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo have been injured in a minor car accident, a network spokesperson confirmed.
Castmates Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, Sugar Bear, Mama June, Pumpkin and Jessica were involved in an accident in Georgia. Sources say they were en route to pay a light bill and Sugar Bear (the father) was driving. He started to turn and a car came through the intersection and hit their vehicle. It's the first time any of the family have been in an car accident, a source added.
The clan was taken to a hospital, but with relatively minor injuries. 'Everyone is bumped and bruised,' we're told (so just boo-boos then).
TMZ first reported the news. Season 3 of Honey Boo Boo gets underway Jan. 16. Though the show is currently shooting, the production camera crew was not involved or shooting at the time of the accident.
