The new coach of the Houston Texans made sure to get right with the football team's most prominent fan: former president George H.W. Bush.

The 41st president tweeted out a picture of him with Bill O'Brien, recently named the Texans coach after two seasons at Penn State, and team owner Bob McNair.

'Delighted to see my friend Bob McNair and meet new @HoustonTexans head coach Bill O'Brien & his lovely wife Colleen,' tweeted Bush.

Bush, a Houston resident, attends many Texans' games. He no doubt suffered this year as the team, coming off two straight seasons in the NFL playoffs, fell to a record of 2-14.

One silver lining: The Texans have the first pick in this year's college player draft.
