Jessi Smiles Receiving Death Threats After Curtis Lepore Rape Accusation

How awful. After news broke on Jan. 16 that Jessi's ex was charged with alleged rape on accusations made by her, there was an outpouring of support for the beautiful Vine star - but unfortunately there is also a sizable group of people attacking her and accusing her of making it all up.

We're starting to see the dark underbelly of fandom in the alleged rape case between Vine stars and former lovers Jessi Smiles and Curtis Lepore. After Curtis pled not guilty to the rape charge on Jan. 14, he urged his followers to withhold judgment until all the facts came out - but some of them decide to attack Jessi on Twitter and Vine instead.

Jessi Smiles Attacked Online For Curtis Lepore Rape Allegation

There are a decent amount of people who are convinced that Jessi is making everything up in some twisted attempt to garner publicity. And as you can see in their tweets (Be warned: they are extremely offensive) below, these overzealous fans of Curtis have been shockingly outspoken:

The attacks continued on Vine, where one user commented, 'Hows it feel to lie about being raped,' and 'F**king b***h he didn't f**king rape you dumb b***h.'

Jessi Smiles Ignoring The Haters

There really are no words to explain how inappropriate these fans are acting. To blindly suggest that Jessi would make up such a horrible story for a few more Twitter followers is beyond offensive. At this point it isn't fair to attack either her or Curtis - the case is ongoing and we're a long way from determining what actually happened. We're sure even Curtis would agree that these supporters are taking things way too far.
