LA Kings activate Jonathan Quick from injured list
A look at some of our favorite images of the week.
The 2012 Conn Smythe Trophy winner hasn't played since he injured his groin late in a game at Buffalo on Nov. 12. Quick is 10-5-0 this season with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.
Quick was named to the U.S. Olympic team on Wednesday for the second time.
Ben Scrivens also dressed for the Kings, which meant Martin Jones was likely to be a healthy scratch.
Jones won his first eight decisions after making his NHL debut last month. He still leads the league in save percentage (.950) and goals-against average (1.41).
