Phil And Laura Preview This Weekend's Movies
In this this week's edition of Morning Matinee, Phil and Laura preview 'The Nut Job,' a 3-D flick featuring a conniving squirrel and 'Ride Along' featuring comedian Kevin Hart.
Will Arnett is the voice of a park-dwelling mammal who accidentally destroys his winter food supply. He tries to make up for it by breaking into a gourmet shop. It's a plan so crazy, you'd have to be nuts to try it. 'The Nut Job' is rated PG.
Kevin Hart is put to the test in 'Ride Along.' Hart is a security guard with a gamer fetish and a girlfriend. He proposes, but his lady-love says Hart needs the blessing of her brother. Ice Cube is a hardened cop who thinks Hart isn't man enough to take care of his sister, so he takes him on a danger cruise designed to scare the would-be-brother-in-law right out of the picture. 'Ride Along' is rated PG-13.
