She wasn't hard to miss as she sashayed across the red carpet in a sweeping fuchsia gown at the 71st Annual Golden Globes on Sunday evening.

Indeed, Taylor Swift looked positively demure in her sleeveless Caroline Herrera gown at the Beverly Hilton Hotel - where she was as on hand to witness Matthew McConaughey scoop the Best Actor award for his harrowing portrayal of a man stricken with AIDS in Dallas Buyers Club.

Stepping out for the inevitable round of after-parties later that night, it was a radically different Taylor who made an appearance at one such bash - the Weinstein Company & Netflix 2014 Golden Globes after-party.

The 24-year-old singer opted to ditch her roomy evening gown in favour of something a little more fitted as she posed for photos at the event before making her way inside with dapper looking brother Austin Swift.

Taylor stood out in a Julien Macdonald semi-sheer bodycon dress that showcased her toned, athletic frame as she partied into the early hours with actress pals Jaime King and Hailee Steinfeld.

The singer finished her stylish ensemble with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and a pair of conventional black heels that she put to good use by sashaying towards U2 star Bono, with whom she was later seen enjoying a long conversation.

Those shoes were later swapped for a strappy variation from Jimmy Choo when she left the Weinstein event -hosted by Bombardier, FIJI Water, Lexus, Laura Mercier, Marie Claire and Yucaipa Film - for the 15th annual InStyle and Warner Bros. GoldenGlobes after-party.

Earlier that night Jennifer Lawrence managed to hilariously 'photobomb' an interview Taylor was doing on the red carpet with E!'s Ryan Seacrest.

'I was going to come in and push you down the stairs,' she quipped. 'I was like, 'She'll crack up. She would really love that.''

Taylor, who has dated Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and Harry Styles, to name a few, has taken a break from romance in the past few months.

She won a People's Choice Award last Wednesday night in Los Angeles for Favorite Country Artist.

The seven-time Grammy winner starts the European leg of her Red tour in February in London.
