Trace Adkins has entered rehab for issues related to alcoholism, his rep confirmed.
Country star Trace Adkins has entered rehab to deal with alcoholism issues, his rep confirmed to the Daily News.
The 52-year-old star was taking part in a County Cruising cruise when he fell off the wagon after 12 years sober.

'Trace has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism,' his rep told the News. 'As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family's privacy will be respected.'
Adkins was performing on the ship before the setback on a cruise from Miami to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

According to TMZ, a brawl with a Trace Adkins impersonator who was doing karaoke precipitated Adkins' departure from the cruise. The gossip site that the singer jumped ship in Jamaica before heading towards rehab.
Adkins has been open about his battle with alcoholism. The 'Celebrity Apprentice' winner went into rehab once before, in Christmas 2002.
