DETROIT, MI -- Beatles member Ringo Starr will take his All Starr Band on tour with him this summer and make a stop in Metro Detroit.

Starr's tour said in a press release Tuesday his group - composed of Steve Lukather, Richard Page, Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren and Gregg Bissonette - will perform June 27 at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston.

The stop is part of a 28-show tour that has Starr eager to hit the road.

'I love playing with this band,' Starr said in a statement, 'and I can't wait to get back out and play with them again.' A look at the tour lineup; tickets prices and a sale are TBD. For more information, check out Starr's website.
