De Blasio has tickets to Super Bowl but unsure about attending

Mayor de Blasio has scored coveted tickets to the Super Bowl, but he hasn't decided whether to attend.
De Blasio is among a host of local politicos who have been offered two tickets to the big game at MetLife Stadium.

The list includes Gov. Cuomo, who also hasn't firmly committed to attending, according to a source familiar with the distribution of tickets.
Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg declined tickets because he will be out of town this weekend, the source said.

While the pols have been offered free tickets by the Super Bowl host committee, anyone who accepts would be smart to pay organizers for them, to steer clear of violating ethics rules that bar elected officials from accepting anything of substantial value.Jennifer Fermino
