Madonna calls son Rocco the N
Madonna has never been the one to shy away from expressing herself. But the outspoken singer may have stuck her foot in her mouth when she called her son Rocco Ritchie the N-word on Instagram.
'No one messes with Dirty Soap!' she captioned a photo of her 13-year-old son during a boxing workout Friday. 'Mama said knock you out! #disn---a'
The 55-year-old 'Justify My Love' singer almost immediately deleted the post when it caused an uproar, according to Buzz Feed. However, her revised caption wasn't much better.
'Ok let me start this again,' she wrote alongside the same image of Rocco. '#get off my d--k haters!'
While some critics dismissed Madge's comment as ignorance, others felt she should apologize for her use of the derogatory and racist term.

'I don't have people policing me because I am not a celebrity with millions of fans all over the world,' @kinkaloe wrote on Instagram. 'This is f--king Madge, she is a legend, people are watching her and WILL comment if she says something ignorant.'
But simply excusing it as Madonna being naïve wasn't enough for others.
'Really @madonna??!!!' @mamap_nutz reportedly wrote before the pop star deleted her post. 'Why do u think it's EVER appropriate for ANYONE to use the word?!! Total disrespect.'
In fact, the ' Material Girl' singer adopted two Malawian children, Mercy James and David Banda, which reportedly makes her word choice even more irresponsible.
Instead of apologizing, Madonna seems to have brushed off the critics after they attacked her for sticking her foot in her mouth. Ironically, she is currently hobbling around on crutches after reportedly injuring her leg while dancing.

'Inventing a new workout on crutches!' she wrote on Instagram Thursday with a photo of her in the gym despite the injury. 'Waking up new Neuro transmitters is always fun! #nothingcanstopme'
Apparently, nothing can stop Madge from causing controversy. She raised eyebrows recently after posting a photo of her teenage son and two underage friends holding liquor bottles.
'The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014' she captioned the pic.
After that caused a stir she again snapped back instead of owning it and humbly admitting what some viewed as wrong.
'No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor!' she responded to the critics. 'Don't start the year off with judgement!'
