2014 NBA Playoffs: The excitement continues with round two

There's just one word needed to describe the first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs, wow! The league couldn't have hoped for more drama and excitement, but with the matchups in round two, could fans be in for an even bigger treat?

The Miami Heat and their road to winning three straight championships is probably the biggest story, but what about the turnaround of the Washington Wizards, who now face the top-seeded Indiana Pacers.

Washington has been a doormat over the past few seasons, but good moves the past two years by the front office have turned the franchise around and now they could take that next step forward with an upset of Indiana, who did struggle against Atlanta in round one.

Another team making some noise in Portland as the Trail Blazers knocked Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets out in their opening series, but now they take on the veteran San Antonio Spurs, but to be the best, you must beat the best and that is what the face over the next seven game series.

Kevin Durant and his Oklahoma City Thunder had a tough time against Memphis, but they are on track with their goal of wining a title. The LA Clippers are a tough opponent, but all the off court issues following the team could make it tough against a Thunder squad that has plenty of playoff experience.

LeBron James and company face Brooklyn with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett and while the Heat should be big favorites, we found out in round one of the NBA Playoffs that favorites don't always win and experience doesn't always shine through.
