(CBS) Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford isn't being investigated for any incident with a fan in Game 4 of his team's Western Conference Final against the Kings, despite a report alleging he was.
TMZ.com published a story saying Crawford was under investigation for allegedly spraying a fan with his water bottle in the third period of Monday's game, after which the said fan was reported to have filed a police report. But a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman told CBS 2 and CBSChicago.com late Wednesday morning that the police aren't investigating any matter related to Crawford.
Los Angeles leads the series 3-1 entering tonight's Game 5 at the United Center.
