Disney Releases 'Girl Meets World' Premiere Date AND A First Look!
Need a good reason to stay in on a Friday night this summer? We've got ya covered. The Hollywood Reporter announced today that ' Girl Meets World ' will premiere on Friday, June 27 at 9:45/8:45c on the Disney Channel! Annnd...breathe.
It's been over a year since filming first began (hey, Rome wasn't built in a day!), but the Disney Channel has kept up our excitement with loads of exciting comeback news. From Minkus to Mr. Feeny to even Harley Kleiner, the 'Boy Meets World' spin-off will feature several guest appearances. Consider it a TGIF/Flashback Friday remix!
However, without question, the two old faces fans will be most pumped to see are the undisputed King and Queen of the '90s, Cory and Topanga! Fortunately, Disney's given us a glimpse of the lovable couple in this extended trailer, in which we see a much more mature Mr. Matthews nearly have a heart attack when his daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), says, 'I'm growing up, dad.'
Cory? A grown-up? That'll take some getting used to, but at least Topanga still responds in typical Topanga fashion. 'Oh, boy,' she says nonchalantly. Aww, we've missed these two!
