Game thread: Tigers tie game in 7th, but Coke hands back lead
It took the Detroit Tigers a little while to get to Cleveland, but they got there.
The team was stranded in Boston until earlier this afternoon because of a plane malfunction, but they landed a few hours before game time against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field (7 p.m., FSD).
The pitching matchup: Tigers lefty Drew Smyly (2-2, 2.70 ERA) vs. Indians right-hander Corey Kluber (4-3, 3.38 ERA).
Centerfielder Austin Jackson gets the night off. He's 2-for-11 in his career vs. Kluber. Miguel Cabrera is 8-for-17 with three home runs vs. Kluber.
