Maleficent

Some great movies coming up next week for half term. This next installment of our Movie Preview trailers is full of action. Here's my pick of the top three.

1) Maleficent 3D (PG) Out in cinemas May 28Starring: Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Juno Temple.Director: Robert Stromberg This is Disney's live action version of the Sleeping Beauty story told from the point of view of the evil witch Queen Maleficent and what led to the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse young Princess Aurora. Foker On Film review will be featured on May 28. (Fantasy adventure)

2) Edge of Tomorrow 3D (12A) Out in cinemas May 30.Starring: Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Tom Paxton, Brendan Gleeson and Jeremy Piven. Set in the not too distant future, an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world. Major William Cage (Tom Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop-forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again...and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside mysterious Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt). (Sci-Fi thriller)

3) A Million Ways to Die in The West (15) Out in cinemas May 30.Starring: Seth MacFarlane, Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Christopher Lloyd, Neil Patrick HarrisDirector: Seth MacFarlane Set in the Old Wild West a simple farmer Albert (Seth MacFarlane) falls for a mysterious woman (Charlize Theron) and has to find newfound courage when he realises that her gunslinger husband Clinch (Liam Neeson) turns up in town. (Western / comedy)

There you go. A Disney adventure, a Sci-Fi war movie and a comedy from Seth MacFarlane...which I'm sure will be in the best possible taste! (Hmmm)

Enjoy the cinema experience. Foker On Film.
