Oklahoma State penalized one practice per week
The 2014-15 season just got more difficult for the Oklahoma State Cowboys to manage.
Oklahoma State will lose on practice per week because of APR penalties, The Oklahoman and GoPokes.com reported Wednesday.
The APR - Academic Progress Rate - is a measure of eligibility and retention for Division student-athletes and serves as an indicator of eventual graduation rates.

Oklahoma State's APR will reportedly fall below the NCAA minimum requirement of 930 over a four-year period or 940 over two years, according to The Oklahoman.
The football team's APR is 929.41 over four years, just short of the 930 it needed to be. The Oklahoman reported that if the figure had been 929.5, it would have rounded up to the minimum 930.
Sources told The Oklahoman that the penalty is expected to last for one season.
