PlayStation Now Beta Expands To PS4

Were you one of many who ditched the PlayStation 3 when they picked up the PlayStation 4?

Or, have you simply been waiting to test out Sony's new PlayStation Now service on the next-gen console? Either way, we've got good news: As announced over at the PlayStation Blog, starting today, May 20, select PS4 owners in the US will get a chance to check out the new streaming service.

This program has been in a private beta phase on the PS3 since January, and the upcoming test on the PS4 will also be private. If you registered to be part of the testing group, check your inbox for your voucher code. PS Now is slated to launch this summer in the US, and the Netflix-like service (powered by Gaikai) will eventually expand to the Vita and compatible Bravia TVs.

Thus far, PlayStation strategic planning director Peter Jamshidi says things have been 'going great' and beta testers have tallied over 50,000 gameplay hours. If you've already tried it, what do you think of PlayStation Now?
