The 49ers will be without a pair of starters on Monday night with both Tarell Brown and Mike Iupati inactive.
The 49ers will be without starting corner Tarell Brown and starting guard Mike Iupati on Monday with both players inactive due to injuries.
Brown suffered a rib injury last week and will miss his first game of the season. Tramaine Brock will replace Brown in the lineup and make his second career start. The absence of Brown could prove to be a major factor on the game, especially if Brock struggles to contain Washington wide receiver Pierre Garcon. With Iupati inactive due to a knee injury, Adam Snyder will make his first start of the season. Snyder has plenty of experience, with 83 career starts.
Washington will also be without a starter with up-and-coming tight end Jordan Reed out with a concussion. Reed did not practice this week. Starting defensive end Stephen Bowen is also inactive for Washington. Here is a complete look at the inactives for both teams.
