Facebook fixes hiccups disrupting posts
SAN FRANCISCO -- Facebook's site early on Friday suffered a minor case of hiccups causing some members to wonder where their posts on the site had gone.
'Earlier today, we experienced an issue that prevented some people from loading Timeline or Pages content for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and content is back to normal. We're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused,' said Facebook spokesman Jay Nancarrow.
People flocked to Twitter to complain of the minor glitch that some said affected both personal and business page uploads.
Facebook on Thursday unveiled redesigned 'Like' and 'Share'buttons for publishers and others who offer interaction with the social network. Gone is the thumbs-up button for the 'Like' function, replaced instead with an 'F' logo.
