'I actually went to dinner with him one time and he hit on me one time when I was like 18 (or 19,)' Perry told Novafm's morning show of the extra attention from a rock icon who's 41 years her senior.
Perry -- who just turned 29 -- was in the Land Down Under to promote her new album, 'Prism,' on Australia's version of 'The X-Factor.' She told the radio station that the pass from the Hall of Fame lothario came after work she was singing background vocals for his 2004 single, 'Old Habbits Die Hard,' which landed on the 'Alfie' movie soundtrack.

Back then the pop superstar was an anonymous aspiring hopeful signing backup 'for Taco Bell money.
'But that was a long time ago and since then he's been very kind - I got to sing Beast of Burden on stage with the Rolling Stones,' she quickly added, referring to the band's 50th anniversary stop in Las Vegas in May.

And even as a teenager, Perry showed a savvy that would serve her well in the music industry.
'You bring a friend and then they do him,' she said, eliciting laughter from the radio hosts. 'You sacrifice your friend.'
