Southwest Airlines, Nintendo Give Away Wii U Consoles To Entire Dallas Flight
Still plotting out those Black Friday deals and possible Christmas gifts for the family? A planeload of people who were flying into Dallas yesterday for the holidays on Southwest Airlines got an early Christmas present from Nintendo and Southwest, and were handed a free, Wii U console as part of a big promotion by the two companies. Nintendo and Southwest Airlines said it gave more than 100 passengers on flight 1883 from New Orleans to Dallas one of the new video game systems in a surprise announcement on the flight--as part of a promotion for 'Wii U Gaming Lounges', which show off the new Wii U to holiday travelers at Southwest terminals. Southwest released a YouTube video of the Nintendo Wii giveaway.
