The Billboard Music Awards 2014 was a night to remember with performances from the likes of Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer and Miley Cyrus while there was even an appearance from Michael Jackson as a hologram.
All the action took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with rapper Ludacris serving as the host, and the audience were certainly kept on their feet with some impressive performances from music's biggest stars.
Shakira lights up the stage with her ballad 'Empire' (AKM-GSI)Pint-sized pop songstress Ariana Grande teamed up with blonde bombshell Iggy Azalea for their hit new single 'Problem' while 5 Seconds of Summer, who were actually introduced as One Direction courtesy of Kendall Jenner, sang their debut single 'She Looks So Perfect.'
Moments before she became the first female to receive the Billboard Icon Award, Jennifer Lopez got the audience on their feet with her new single 'First Love,' while Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus both made appearances via satellite due to being on tour in the UK.
Other stars to grace the stage included John Legend, Jason Derulo, Ricky Martin, Lorde and Shakira.
