Glee Season Five Finale Details Revealed: Where Is Lea Michele's Rachel Berry ...
But that's not the only changes that took place on last night's finale episode as Mercedes and Sam decided to call time on their relationship again. But all was not lost in the world of romance as Blaine and Kurt got their relationship back on track after a short disagreement.
The finale episode of season five also paved the way for season six to return with a time jump which Ryan Murphy recently confirmed would happen when the show returns for it's final season next year.
With everyone moving in different directions, the New Directions decided to reunite in New York six months down the line to see what everyone was up to.
Meanwhile, whilst the characters said they would reunite in six months, fans of the show will have to wait a little longer for the next season. Teasing what could possibly happen in the sixth season, Darren Criss, who plays the role of Blaine, told E! News:
'There's a nuclear bomb. Season six is actually about the post-apocalyptic nuclear fallout in Lima, Ohio... There's always a song and dance about the nuclear bomb.'
Darren also opened up about his thoughts on the hit FOX network show coming to an end. Admitting that it was nice to be told that Glee would be ending after six seasons, the actor who plays the role of Blaine, went on to say:
'Not many television shows are afforded the luxury of knowing when you're going to end so that's nice.
'You have time to kind of wrap your brain around on it and get a little closure so I'm excited, but I'm definitely not running to the finish line by any means. I'm enjoying what I have left because I don't think it'll ever be like this ever again.'
Lea and the cast come together to celebrate the show's 100th episode
