Rejoice! It's the end of another busy week but before you all go rushing off to start your Bank Holiday Weekend, catch up on all the biggest news stories you've missed over the last seven days.

On a lighter note, the world's most famous bachelor George Clooney looks set to finally settle down after proposing to British lawyer girlfriend Amal Alamuddin. Reports have emerged that the relatively new couple could be set to walk down the aisle as soon as September.

On another sad note, it was the inquest hearing into the death of Peaches Geldof on Thursday. It was revealed that heroin was likely to have played a part in the socialite's sudden death. The inquest has been adjourned until July 23.

And finally, Star Wars fans can rejoice as the cast was finally announced after weeks of speculation with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill among the names that were confirmed.
