Everything you need to know about Judd Apatow's new Netflix show

House of Cards was a smash hit. Orange is the New Black invaded almost every Emmys category this year. Chelsea Handler is getting a talk show. So it seems Netflix is ready to order up a straight-up comedy series. Who to tap? Obviously Judd Apatow, who will bring a new comedy series, Love, to Netflix streaming services everywhere in the far off land of 2016. Here's everything you need to know about the new Netflix/Apatow venture.

1. This Love could hurt.

Creators are described as bringing 'an unflinching, hilarious and excruciatingly honest take on modern relationships to Love.'

2. Netflix has already greenlit two seasons.

Love will debut with 10 episodes in 2016 and 12 episodes in 2017 (the year we will all wear iWatches and laugh hilariously about handheld phones).

3. Gillian Jacobs is starring!

The Community star will get a big boost from the spotlight. But don't worry, you can see her in Hot Tub Time Machine 2 this fall first.

4. So is the lesser-known but equally talented Paul Rust.

You know him from I Love You, Beth Cooper and Inglorious Basterds. Check him out in the sketch Paul Rust smells...amazing.

5. Judd Apatow is writing!

Unlike Girls (where he is mostly serving in a producer capacity), Apatow will be writing on Love! Plus, the rest of the folks behind the show are super strong: also writing will be Rust, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Girls' Lesley Arfin (and The Simpson's Brent Forrester is executive producing). 'I am so excited to get to work with Paul and Lesley on this project, ' said Apatow in a statement. 'Netflix has been supportive in ways I couldn't create in my wildest fever dreams.'
