Twihards are going too hard on FKA Twigs.
As the 'Pendulum' singer's relationship with Robert Pattinson heats up, the Twilight actor's fans-in addition to other internet trolls-have been attacking Twigs on Twitter. 'I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week,' the British musician, 26, tweeted Sunday. 'Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online.'
Since childhood, Twigs has been forced to deal with racist remarks. 'People said horrible things about something I had no control of, which was tough,' the 'Two Weeks' singer said in 's June 2014 issue. 'I never really saw anything wrong with how I looked, it was more that certain people pointed things out to you about yourself. Either your hair's different, or the color of your skin, or your features.
'Half of my life I've had people staring at me because they think I'm funny-looking and ugly,' Twigs added. 'The other half of my life I've had people staring at me because they think I'm fascinating.'
In the same interview, Twigs admitted she was wary of how fame could affect her music. 'Within my privacy is where I find my creativity, so if too much of that goes, I'm done. No more talks. If I lose too much privacy, that's it: I'm gone,' she revealed. 'I would still want to create, but I'd just create quietly.'

Pattinson, meanwhile, is contemplating a homecoming of sorts.
'I think I might be done with Los Angeles. I've just realized that in the past few weeks,' the Maps to the Stars actor, 28, is quoted as saying in The Independent's magazine. 'If you are the kind of person who needs to be pushed into doing something, then Hollywood is not the right place. I think I need to spend more time in London, or just move around a bit more. I've been in L.A. for six or seven years or something and it's weird. The more you stay there, especially as an actor, the more you think you need to be there, that you'll be missing out on something by leaving, but you are not really. It's a fun city, though, but you are permanently on holiday there. I feel like I've been on holiday there since I was 22.'
Whether Twigs impacted his decision to return home remains to be seen.
As E! News exclusively revealed last week, Twigs and Pattinson are 'officially an item' after meeting through a mutual friend. They have 'great chemistry,' a source shared, adding, 'Rob really likes her.'
