Matt Damon returns for 'Jason Bourne 5'

The sequel of 'The Bourne Legacy' of Jeremy Renner will hit the big screen once again on July 15, 2016. However, there is also another big movie in the making as Universal Pictures is already in negotiation with Matt Damon together with Paul Greengrass as director for another installment of the franchise of 'Jason Bourne' (The Bourne Ultimatum).


Last year, as per Greengrass, ever since Jason Bourne got back his memory, there is no other way to get creative. Good news is, the more things have come up. Hence, the project is already making progress. Because of this new progress, the studio is already having second thoughts whether to stop the sequel of 'The Bourne Legacy' and just proceed with the follow up of Damon's Jason Bourne.


If Universal will based the decision on amount earned of the films, the last installment of Damon could win as it earned $443M worldwide as opposed to Renner's $276M.
