Cameron Diaz Has No Plans For Kids, But She Is Willing To Do Nude Scenes
Cameron Diaz has opened up about why she hasn't started a family, revealing that she has no plans to give in to the pressures and expectations of society.The actress, who sizzles in the November issue of Marie Claire magazine, also discussed on-screen nudity after baring it all in this summer's 'Sex Tape' opposite Jason Segel.'We live in a society where everyone has kids, so they want other people to have kids,' Diaz, 42, tells the magazine about why she hasn't settled down. 'There is this culture that says celebrities are supposed to be just like us, so people think, 'I have children, why doesn't she?' But I'm not going to do something because it's expected.'Diaz, who stars as a foster parent in this December's big-screen adaptation of 'Annie,' adds, 'If a family happens, then it happens. If children come to me, then I would do that, but I'm not someone who feels like she has to do something because it's expected.'The former fashion model appeared nude on screen for the first time this past summer, and following her brief nude scenes in 'Sex Tape,' she now says that it's something she's open to.'People have seen my butt. I've shown the top of my butt, the bottom of my butt. I'm not opposed to doing nudity, as long as it's part of the story,' she says. 'I'll do whatever has to get done if it's the right thing.'Another first for Cameron: singing on camera.'The two things I'm most terrified of are heights and singing in front of people,' she says of starring in 'Annie,' her first musical. 'I've jumped out of airplanes and scaled sides of cliffs - not to get over my fears, but to address them. I just felt like this is something that needed to be addressed.'So how did she get through it?'I cried uncontrollably,' she says.
