Transformers director Michael Bay is reportedly in talks with Paramount Pictures to direct 13 Hours, an adaptation of Mitchell Zuckoff's eponymous book.Scripted by Chuck Hogan, the story of the film deals with the attack on an American compound in Benghazi, Libya, Sep 11, 2012, that left US ambassador J Christopher Stevens dead, reports hollywoodreporter.com.Bay will negotiate his genre from a toy tentpole to a Benghazi political drama. He last directed the fourth part of Transformers franchise Age of Extinction, which released Jun 19, 2014.Bay said earlier that while the next Transformers is already dated, he will not be directing it, and while this film will not feature the same elements, it still fits into his wheelhouse of action-heavy material and could bear similarities to Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down.
