Fox NFL announcer Mike Goldberg has been pulled after only one game on the job. Goldberg, who called his first NFL game ever in Week 6, was heavily criticized by fans during the broadcast and he didn't take kindly to what they had to say.

Goldberg was the play-by-play man for the Lions game in Minnesota and made several mistakes. One of those mistakes included saying that Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater tried to throw a pass to Golden Tate (You can see a clip of that video here).

Fox's Mike Goldberg just said of a pass Teddy Bridgewater threw, 'The intended receiver was Golden Tate.' They're not on the same team, Mike

Lions and Vikings fans eventually took to Twitter to criticize Goldberg, who responded with a 'F--- you' tweet to one fan. The tweet has since been deleted, but you can see it here (Obviously, NSFW language in the link).

Goldberg also sent this tweet out in response to another fan.

Goldberg was scheduled to be the play-by-play man for the Bills-Vikings game in Week 7, however, the Bills announced on Tuesday that Fox has replaced Goldberg with veteran play-by-play man Tim Brando.

The network probably could've have overlooked Goldberg's mistakes in the game, but once he started cursing at fans on Twitter, Fox almost had to pull the plug. The network has yet to release an official statement on Goldberg's situation.
