American Music Awards 2013: Christina Aguilera stuns on red carpet

Christina Aguilera was a show stopper on the American Music Awards red carpet Sunday night.

Just a year after her last appearance at the show, Aguilera, 32, showed off her noticeably thinner frame in an elegant white gown and blond coif.

The 'Come On Over' singer appeared to be going for an old Hollywood glam look, wearing her light locks in loose curls and focusing her make up on bright lipstick.

Later the songstress took to the stage to duet with songwriting pair A Great Big World for the ballad 'Say Something,' sporting a demure black dress and fresh face to match.

During last year's appearance at the awards show Aguilera received harsh criticism for her outfit choices that didn't exactly flatter her fuller figure.
