Dancing With the Stars Results: Another Stunner?
After the last two Dancing With the Stars results shows ended with major elimination shocker, this week had to fall more in line with expectations ... right?
The eighth week of competition saw the seven remaining celebs and their professional partners dancing their hearts out for survival. So who was in jeopardy?
At the bottom of the heap this week - or at least in the red light of doom - were Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd and Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke.
Yes, Bill Engvall survived again. The celeb going home on DWTS is ...
Brant Daugherty. Arguably the least-known celebrity before the season started, Brant now joins Snooki and Christina Milian as stars who left too soon.
He was fun to watch, with plenty of charisma to go around, but was mired in the middle of the pack without a breakout week or that strong emotional pull.
Brant's been stuck where he has the star power but not the refinement, the judges said, yet he still had one of the better scores on last night's show:
For the dance-off challenge, the six lowest performing couples were divided into three teams. Bleu and Smirnoff won out over Berkley and Chmerkovskiy.
Next up was Daugherty and Murgatroyd dancing the rumba against Remini and Dovolani. Two out of three judges picked Remini and Dovolani as the best.
Last up was Osbourne and Burke versus Engvall and Slater dancing disco. Though Engvall and Slater lost, they were spared elimination by viewer votes.
Then alas, Daugherty was sent packing. Justifiably or not.
You tell us: Did Brant Daugherty deserve to go?
