Lady Gaga Confesses She Wants To 'Forfeit' Her Glamour Cover As She Steps ...

Lady Gaga was never going to go for an understated look for the Glamour Women of the Year awards in the US. The singer pulled out all the stops for the New York ceremony, where she picked up one of the night's prestigious honours.
In one of her most bizarre looks to date, the star chose an all white ensemble, and when we say all white we mean from head to toe. Teaming her Victorian style skirt and blazer with dainty gloves, the chart-topper added a pair of her trademark towering heels.
The peeptoes were covered in pearls and featured a super high platform heel. Just in case she didn't stand out enough in her heels, Gaga rocked a mane of crimped blonde locks and painted her face a deathly white shade with the only splash of colour coming from the star's ruby red lips and blusher.
Lily Collins went for a more elegant look in her nude chiffon gown which featured a shredded shirt, showing off the actress' slender figure whilst Girls star and creator Lena Dunham showed off her quirky style in a black mesh dress.
Gaga was one of the night's honourees alongside the likes of Kerry Washinton and platinum-selling singer Barbra Streisand, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Lady Gaga, who covers the US magazine's Women of the Year December issue, was keen to send some love to another very worthy winner in her acceptance speech, dedicating her award to Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani education activist who was shot in the head by Taliban militants last year.
'Every woman here deserves to be on the cover, but if I could forfeit my Glamour cover, it would be to Malala,' Gaga told the audience at Carnegie Hall.
