2014 Sochi Winter Olympics: Syracuse Crunch
Syracuse Crunch goalie Kristers Gudlevskis continued to be a tourist Friday morning at the Sochi Winter Olympics.
Gudlevskis did not play in Latvia's 4-2 loss to the Czech Republic. Gudlevskis has yet to get any time in Latvia's first two games.
He could get a chance on Saturday when his country takes on Sweden at noon. That game will be televised by the USA Network.
Former Syracuse Crunch forward Ondrej Palat dressed but did not play against Latvia on Friday. And former Crunch defenseman Radko Gudas, another Czech player, missed his second straight game with what's being described as a fever.
At noon today, Canada meets Austria on the USA Network.
And set your alarms for 7:30 a.m. Saturday when the United States takes on Russia in the highlight game of the preliminary round. That game will be televised on the USA Network.
And a thanks to @JGHoughtaling for manning the overnight shift for the Latvia-Czech Republic updates. - Full Olympic hockey schedule
