What a gearhead: Incognito tells cops he smashed own car
One of the two mysteries behind Richie Incognito 's smashed-up Ferrari has been solved.
The disgraced former Miami Dolphins lineman was the one swinging for the fences and connecting with the hood of his $300,000 ride, Arizona cops told newsandtalking.blogspot.com.

Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark told The AP that Incognito took responsibility for the vandalism when he was contacted by cops Thursday morning. Clark added that police consider the matter closed, since no crime was reported.
The hood and grill of Incognito's car were damaged with a baseball bat - the handle of which was sticking out of the grill. The windows were left untouched.

Incognito is the central figure in the Dolphins' bullying scandal. He was suspended on Nov. 3 and missed the team's final eight games as a result of the incident involving teammate Jonathan Martin. An investigation conducted for the NFL determined Incognito and two other offensive linemen engaged in persistent harassment of Martin, another offensive lineman and an assistant trainer.
Wednesday's car-smashing episode is the latest act in a string of erratic behavior in the aftermath of the scandal. Earlier this month he took to Twitter to say that Martin was suicidal, only to backpedal days later and 'apologize for acting like a big baby the last few days.'

Now they just have to figure out why the car was parked on the front lawn.
