Raymond Felton will be in the Knicks' lineup vs. Heat despite arrest on felony ...
Knicks point guard Raymond Felton is arraigned on felony gun charges Tuesday.
For Raymond Felton, it's a case of 'Had gun, will travel.'
Felton was back practicing with the Knicks on Wednesday, one day after he was released on $25,000 bail after he was charged with two counts of felony weapons possession after a lawyer for his estranged wife turned in a loaded handgun to police.
Felton, who was to make a statement to the media without taking questions after practice, will travel with the Knicks to Miami and play in Thursday's road game against LeBron James and the Heat, coach Mike Woodson said.
'I don't much about what actually has happened. You guys probably know more than I do. But the bottom line is Ray is a part of our team, and as his coach, I'm going to support him,' Woodson said. '(I'm going to) make sure that he's doing everything the right way from here on out and to try to get him to just concentrate on basketball.'
All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony did not practice Wednesday due to 'personal reasons,' the team said, but he was slated to accompany the Knicks to Miami.
