HTC M8 mini thought to have leaked on Google+
A couple of images have appeared on Google+ claiming to be the HTC M8, although fans of Reddit have suggested they look more like the HTC M8 mini.
The images were posted by M. Helal with fans of Reddit pointing out the short speaker grills, length of black trim and non-existent plastic ring on the camera, which they claim is more likely the HTC M8 mini.
If the images are real, which prominent developer Shen Ye believes they are, then the HTC M8 mini would appear to have a metallic and dual camera design, along with a similar style to the rumoured bigger brother.
Previous rumours have suggested the HTC M8 mini would come with a 4.5-inch display with on screen buttons, as well as a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with expandable microSD card memory.
It has also been tipped to have Bluetooth 4.0, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 6.0 software on board.
The HTC M8 is currently rumoured to be launching in late-March in New York so the mini version should be announced there too, or shortly after if previous HTC timelines are to be considered.
